Everyone Can be a herO is a school library book from the not too distant future. Just because resources are low, it doesn’t mean that they can’t make inventive, recycled book covers or enjoy themselves. They say in the book that they can live with the facts that the oil has already run out and winters are far colder... There is a wet and a dry season, which means that one moment you are on the tow path by a canal and the next, you can barely see what is canal and what is path... They only have one real problem, which we left them afterwards, the legacy of nuclear power.
This is about ordinary kids, trying to do their best in difficult circumstances and they haven’t got any special powers.

Where The Fox Goes is
about people trying to save their allotments and the wasteland, their small area of wilderness, from developers while they are also coping with factory closures and, for some, the loss of their homes. A fox makes his way through the town and the route he takes by night goes through the places they live and work and spend time in. This isn’t the first time the land has been threatened, but can they save it ?
